Roush is looking for an experienced ERP Manager with PeopleSoft experience to join our team!  The ERP Manager is responsible for the strategic and tactical planning to the user community, particularly to Finance, Manufacturing and Human Resources. This position is 100% onsite and located in Farmington, MI. 

An ERP Manager will be responsible for:

  • Support, mentor and manage the technical and functional staff on the ERP team
  • Work with senior IT and business leaders to prioritize, plan and execute major ERP projects
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior managers and key users during projects and requests that involve potential changes across multiple functions or departments
  • Provide insight into key processes that users or management may not have considered
  • Coordinate on major projects and initiatives with peer managers in the IT Support, Operations and Security teams
  • Manage the daily/weekly support requirements coming from the user community, as well as break/fix support
  • Ensure that Business Continuity processes are followed and monitored, including application back-ups and the periodic testing of recovery procedures
  • Support and manage Electronic Data Interchanges (EDI) requirements where required on customer programs
  • Update and manage the ERP system to ensure it provides company with proper business solutions and accurate results.
  • Lead ERP staff recruitment and retention activities
  • Develop and manage costs related to ERP systems
  • Proven competence with communication skills, including the ability to tailor communications on complex technical and functional subjects to audiences of varying levels of experience

To be considered as an ERP Manager, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related IT field
  • 10 years’ experience in working on ERP systems, preferably Peoplesoft, within a manufacturing and/or services vertical
  • 7 years’ experience in leading ERP teams
  • U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident allowing for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance
  • Experience and knowledge with Peoplesoft architecture, include PeopleTools, Fluid User Interface, Image Updates and other key components
  • Solid understanding of key EDI transactions (planning schedules, shipping schedules, advanced shipping notices, etc.) used within the automotive vertical
  • Solid understanding of application and server infrastructure, including database, application and web servers
  • Expert level knowledge on key manufacturing, financial and human resource processes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and team members
  • Leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and execute tasks successfully
  • Familiarity with Service Desk software and tools
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices
  • Strong project management skills

A successful candidate may also have:

  • Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation [e.g. NIST 800-171, CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification), GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)]
  • Knowledge of a project management solution such as MS Project
  • Knowledge of Visio or similar diagramming software
  • Expert level knowledge on key manufacturing, financial, accounting, and human resources processes
