Do you want to learn how to machine parts?  Do you want to understand how a manufacturing lab environment is run?  If so, Roush's Manufacturing Internship may be a fit for you. We're seeking organized, hands-on, and detail-oriented Manufacturing Interns for the Summer Internship Program. These positions will support the Prototype Coordination Group and gain exposure and real-world experience within a manufacturing environment. These positions are located in Livonia, MI.

As a Manufacturing Intern, you will:

  • Package and label finished parts
  • Load and unload machining parts on different equipment/fixtures
  • Apply rust prevention application and other methods as needed
  • Willingness to help the team and learn other areas as needed
To be a Manufacturing Intern, you will need:
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong desire to understand the manufacturing process
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have proven experience with Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer service skills and willingness to learn
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
A successful candidate may also have:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Willingness to learn introductory level CNC machining or tooling
  • Previous internship experience
